The Southeastern Estuarine Research Society (SEERS)
The Southeastern Estuarine Resarch Society (SEERS) is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to the informal exchange of interdisciplinary information related to estuaries of the southeastern United States. SEERS promotes discussion of estuarine research, science, and management; promotes discussion of current research projects and management issues; and encourages participation of student colleagues. SEERS membership is largely, but not exclusively, from the states of NC, SC, GA and FL. SEERS typically meets twice per year, including the biannual Estuarine Research Federation Conference. SEERS is an affiliate society of the Coastal & Estuarine Research Federation.

Members: $100 non-student, $50 student
Non-members: $120 non-student, $65 student
One-day Registration $50 and Additional Banquet Ticket $50

The meeting will kick off on Thursday the 4th with Registration starting at 5p.m. and the Poster Session and Social from 6-8p.m.
Platform Presentations will be Friday all day and Saturday morning
There will be a special session in honor of Peter Verity with guest speaker Marc E. Frischer of Skidaway Institute of Oceanography presenting, “Plankton Ecology: The Legacy of Peter Verity”
The Friday evening Banquet will be held on a historic Pirate Ship, so bring a jacket or a sweater to be prepared for any uncooperative weather (Pirate attire is optional)
